Canada-Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CACCI) Since 2019 till 15 Aug 2021 had an operation as a non-profit organization in Kabul Afghanistan, this organization currently registered with Onterio Service of Canada from 21 Aug 2024, as a Sole Proprietorship organization operation as a Non-profits for Trade development and  Small Business enterprises (SME) development, to strengthen business to business linkage and network between Chambers, entrepreneurs, corporations, business companies, and traders in Canada and Afghanistan.

CACCI aims to be the bridge between private sectors and governments of the two countries, and to support economic and commercial network development between the two Nations and other countries by conducting virtual, and in person legal business linkages.

Canadian and Afghanistan Joint businesses, enterprises, and investors companies wishing to enter in market, or Canada firms and investors planning to establish in Afghanistan, would receive advice, and technical and coordination support in the two Nations. We seek to promote business and strengthen the private sector.

Canada-Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry consists of bilateral chambers of commercial hubs in 02 locations in 2 countries. CACCI member firms would have the added benefit of easy linkages to any of the locations and businesses through the CACCI network. CACCI looks to have served as reliable partners for companies in their activities in different locations.

 

Vision

We are the bridge between private sector actors in Canada and Afghanistan, developing linkages to promote bilateral economies, commercial and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) investments in both Nations.

 

Mission

Establish trust and confidence for business linkages amongst commercial entities in both Nations and contribute to a peaceful environment for Afghanistan and Canada businesses to trade, and coordinate the investment facilitation, industrial Park, production of goods and services in the two countries.

 

Objectives

  1. Promote business linkages between Traders and investors of both countries.
  2.  a market economy and business promotion systems based on principles of free and fair competition among business enterprises.
  3. Development of SME and charity program to Afghan women’s
  4. Jointly optimize the working of both country Private sectors for better trade and investment facilitation and opportunity for foreign investment in Canada and Afghanistan.
  5. Promote international trade, services, and investment, and to eliminate obstacles and distortions to International commerce;
  6. Strengthen bilateral relations, to represent private sector in a broad range of activities within international and intergovernmental organizations, and to represent local businesses at global forums;
  7. Coordinate activities of the Afghanistan business community, and to represent its interests in dealing with both national and international stakeholders, in matters concerned with international trade and investment;
  8. Support and assist substantially, the expansion, export & import, and modernization and enhancement of Afghanistan’s international trade and investment to world class standards;
  9. Promote and market Canada and Afghanistan products, goods and services in Nations.
  10. Promote and assist production factory facilitation of Canada and Export of Canadian products, goods and services into Afghanistan.

 

 

Governing Bodies

   General Assembly

The supreme governing body is the General Assembly, consisting of all national and international members of CACCI, meeting every year.

 

Board of Directors

Strategic direction for CACCI is provided by its Board of Directors, consisting of up to 06 or more business leaders. The Board oversees the establishment of CACCI strategic priorities and the implementation of its policies.

 

Executive Board

Chairmen, Vice Chairs, Treasury, Secretary General and other board members appointed by the board, meeting every month and review the CACCI policy works.

 

Networking and conference:

-     We facilitate participation of members in conferences in Canada.

-     We facilitate participation of Canadian members to events in Afghanistan.

-     We facilitate the participation of members to international events and dialogues organized by other business associations and chambers of commerce in different countries.

-     We facilitate the business networking visit to both parties for investment in both countries.

-    We host business missions, business conferences, business linkages and events in Canada and Afghanistan.

-       CACCI foundation is one of the keys to provide marketing to both countries products.

 

Technical Assistance:

-     Assistance to write standard international contracts and other business documents

-       Visa facilitation and coordination for members and their international partners for business in Canada and Afghanistan.

 

Future Activities:

Trade and Export Promotion:

-    Deliver market information for exporters

-    Conduct export market research though Chambers

-    Air cargo and goods quality certification

-    Provide rules and regulatory information of the National- international markets to exporters

-    Identify potential buyers for exporters in markets

-     Facilitate invitation the participation of exporters to Canada business events, trade fares and exhibitions

-    Offer B2B meeting opportunity through video conference and face to face meetings.

 

Investment Promotions:

-    Conduct investment research in Canada and Afghanistan

-    Propose investment projects to the government and private sector

-    Provide market information for Afghanistan to investors in Canada

-    Provide regulatory business opportunity information to the investors

-    Find investment partners for business and investment

-    Guide and assist investors for their visa, documents and registration process

-     Organize investment road shows and conferences nationally and internationally, host investors and organize business events

-    Arrange video conference for investors to meet and discuss with potential partners.
